Crab & Spinach Bisque

Good Morning!

Its a sunny, crisp day in South Louisiana!  Perfect for our gourmet Bisque!  Let's make a new version today!

Ingredients you will need:

  • 1 package of Denicola's Bisque Mix
  • 2 cups of water
  • 1 package of frozen spinach cooked and drained (8oz)
  • 1 pound of lump crab meat
  • 1 cup (8oz) of heavy whipping cream

Add the Bisque mix to two cups of water in a pot on your stovetop.  Temp show be low to medium.  Cook this mixture, whisking often, for 10 minutes.  Add the spinach and cook for two more minutes, then add the crab meat.  Cook for 3-5 minutes until thoroughly warmed and polish off with the heavy cream.  Warm this for another two minutes, then serve with crusty bread!

HINT:  Do not let the mixture come to a boil, it will get thick.  If this happens, just add more water.
