Spinach & Oyster Bisque!

Hello Everyone!

 

Many consumers ask us for different ways to use our #1 Gourmet Dry Mix: Bisque!  Here is a new variation to this crowd favorite!

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 package Denicola's Bisque Mix
  • 2 cups of Water
  • 1 package of frozen spinach
  • 1 small container of oysters, drained
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream

Directions:

Let spinach thaw and then drain to remove excess water.

Heat up 2 cups of water in a stovetop pot and add the Bisque Mix.  Keep the temp low to medium, whisking often.  (If the sauce gets too thick, add more water.)

Let the mix simmer for 10 minutes.

Add the spinach to the Bisque mixture, and heat this up for about 2 minutes, stirring often.

Add the drained oysters to the soup and let this cook for 6-8 minutes on medium low, continuing to stir frequently.

Finish off with 1 cup of heavy whipping cream and heat (do not boil) for 2 minutes!

Serve hot!

This soup would go perfectly with a side salad & crusty french bread!
